About the venue
About the venue
The venue is a listed building, this means that we've been given a few rules that we have to follow!
No stiletto heels are allowed in the main room. It's an old wooden floor and they can cause damage. We'll have some heel-protectors just in case.
No children under 12 when dinner is served after the ceremony. Again, it's an old room that's a bit delicate. For this reason the venue won't allow children onsite while there's food and drink.

The nearest station is Hampton Wick, less than a 10-minute walk from the venue. Out of the station, turn right and cross the bridge toward the Palace. Once over the bridge turn right along the riverbank to the entrance.

By car
Taxis can drop off in Hampton Court Palace. From there, walk along the riverbank to the entrance into the Little Banqueting House
If driving, some parking will be available in Hampton Court Palace. Staff will help you find your way back to the venue, no more than a 5-minute walk.

Enter via the Vine Gate, accessed from the towpath
From the station (or taxi drop-off) head along the riverside, joining the towpath next to the bridge
If coming from the car park, head across the front of the Palace to the towpath and around to the Vine Gate entrance

Usual wedding attire (lounge suits, not morning suits) suggested. If the weather is particularly hot, you may choose to wear something a bit lighter.
As mentioned in the venue details, narrow stilettos are not allowed in the hall so please avoid wearing these. A wider heel is totally fine.

The ceremony will be at 4pm, please arrive in time to be seated by 3.45pm
Reception, dinner, and drinks will follow
The bar will close at 11pm
We expect to finish up between 10.30 - 11.30pm, if you are arranging a taxi
